I hope you like it, it reminded me of the costume you were wearing when we first met.
Eh? Oh, right! My shapeshifting! Giraffe is one of my favourite animal forms! I usually just do it partway, though.
[Rinku shifts ears, tail, and horns to demonstrate. She takes the plush and hugs it close.]
A full-size giraffe doesn't fit in a lot of places, and the last time I went around town that way, I got lectured for blocking traffic and eating leaves.
Oh, yeah, probably. [Snug snug.] It was still fun, though. Lots of people usually just do cat or bird -- oh, but I have those too now. Do you know any? They're a lot of fun ♪ Most of mine come from countries I've lived in! Like the bird I turn into is from Nigeria, and my fish form is native to Tiotio Island.
[Rinku smiles.] Uh... hm. It wasn't long after I really started trying to learn magic, but I was pretty slow getting to that. Before the end of the first year, I'd mostly just learned to control my fire. Nowadays I try to learn one every other month or so, unless I'm really busy with other stuff. But Neechan's a really good teacher, and shapeshifting's one of her favourite things to do.
